To reach the bastions, the true military part of the Castle, we cross - quickly! - the high garden.
The High garden, garden where the Ladies of the Castle lived and cultivated medicinal plants...
Big advantage, it is protected - patially - from the wind by the walls of the covered way.

A visit in the high levels makes it possible to benefit from the panorama of the garrison, 7 soldiers in peace times !!!!
The grarnison appears weak but the position of the castle, allowed this in peace time, in war time it was reinforced.

The way back to the entrance is made by a passage drilled in the years 1980-90 into the foot of the Northern bastion. We are now between the external walls and the main building.
